RS New

Had a RS 4 on order from October last year and still waiting for build
confirmation anybody in the same boat.

Ignoring the obvious chip and separate wiring loom issues I would be asking the dealer for an update.
I ordered RS4 in early March this year and have been given a build date.
Salesman ( whom I know very well and have bought many cars from ) is still confident of a 6 month from order delivery.

Was wanting to buy an S3 and currently Audi are listing no build date. 2 dealers have told me this me Q1 next year.

I think just like some other manufacturers,they are also looking at per model profitability numbers in terms of priority maybe ?
Pre Ukraine and late September I ordered a R8 in exclusive colour and took delivery Feb so within the 4 months time given by the salesman although factory build time stated as 6 months.

I was told pan roof was in short supply when I was buying mine, it might be worth asking if there are optional parts holding it up.

That’s a good point - I think any spec requested on any model with a pan roof isn’t being accepted -but you would have thought the dealer would have advised that.
If the vorsprung for instance , no pan roof when order accepted I believe.

Ordered my RS4 early Sept 21 and was delivered mid-Dec 21.

It was the carbon black, but no option for pan-roof and no flat-bottom wheel.

I think my turnaround time was helped by them being desperate for what I was trading in - I may have taken someone else’s order….

Yup my wife wasn’t bothered about the lack of pan roof ( we too ordered CB ) but did want the flat bottomed wheel to no avail.

I was a bit miffed at no flat bottom wheel, but now it’s here I’m not at all bothered to be honest!

But, I would have gone pan-roof and do think it would lift the interior.

There’s still deals to be had out there for new, including ‘M’ and RS products.

Just been in touch with Audi and my build date has just been moved from week 15 to week 25

Don’t suppose you ordered with the pan-roof (wouldn’t even entertain that with me) or a special colour?

yes my order has a pan roof
