Anyone on here got one? Interested to hear if it would work as a daily car or is it a bit too hardcore for that?

Also I have a M2C now; would I perhaps feel "short changed" with the power deficit, FWD vs RWD etc

Are you using the M2C as a daily driver? Selling or keeping? What do your daily drives consist of?

Yes M2 is a daily, perhaps 12-15k miles a year. Use for work and popping to shops, down to the coast etc. Will sell the M2 so the CSS would replace it.

Hi mate, two places to look for some feedback or experience on these cars. Waiting on one myself but might bail on it as the delivery just keeps on being pushed back

I have a Clubsport S and would say do your best to drive one. They are an awesome piece of kit as very well engineered. All the little extras make it a unique package and it feels special.

For me the engine in this tune combined with the relatively low weight help produce excellent mid range plus I love the way it steers.

I love a big engine for the good reasons but having had a few modern larger capacity cars the overall weight kills it for me.

It’s not blindingly quick away from the lights in the way an R (or an M2) is but they are quite different in the way they drive.

Could you use one as an every day car? Yes, the only thing that makes it a challenge will be the cup 2 tyres but I don’t find them too bad ( but I don’t use my car as a daily) but you could run a set pilot 4s in the winter and have fun in the summer with the cup 2

Hi
I’ve got a two seater Clubsport S in Tornado Red. Own a RS6 C8 and a Mk1 Golf GTi. If I had to sell two of my cars the RS6 and Mk1 would have to go. Brilliant car to get out and drive on B roads on a Sunday morning. I had an M2 Competition and would pick the Clubsport S every time for a fun drive. Great handling, sounds great and feels special each time you drive it. Very addictive car but I would say not ideal daily driver. These cars suffer with their value if too many miles are put on them. This is more a weekend car that is used a few times a month
