45 TFSI vs 45 TDI

Hi guys!

I'm looking for a new car and currently stumbled upon this issue: 45 tfsi vs 45 tdi (4 cylinder petrol vs 6 cylinder diesel). I'm thinking about A4/A5 models.

What are your opinions from a driver's feeling perspective?
What about financial view? It'll most probably be a sh car with under 100k km (if this information is relevant).

I'll use the car for daily commute to and from work and occasionally travelling. I'll say less than 15k km per year.

If it's of any use, I live in Romania so most probably I'll buy the car in/from Europe.

Good cars. How much do you care about fuel economy?

Petrol will do low 30s in old money, the diesel mid-high 40s. They both drive well, with the petrol model probably having a slight edge but a fairly large deficit in economy terms.
