help really appreciated here, as I’m stumped. Routine bulb change today as reverse light on centre tail gate was out. As I took the light housing out a connector became uncoupled. I’ve looked, but I can not figure out where it should go. Being part of the bulb housing I would have thought it would have connected to the light casing somehow, but there’s nowhere obvious (even though there’s a home for the wire)

This is the unit (white connector to the right)

and the bulb housing separate from the light cluster. The connector is pretty clear. How does this fit into the cluster (or am I looking in the wrong place altogether?)

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks. I can see no obvious connection from the back - do I have to remove the plastic lense and access from the front of the unit?

Looks like the connector had some adhesive on the back that has degraded over time. Will look to see if I can re-glue to the pcb board and keep contact with the pins.

Bulb or led version?

Pre or post facelift?

I'd replace it, the electrics in that car are very complicated.

Erratic behaviour can cause all sorts of issues, stupid warning lights, battery drains.

Get the genuine Valeo unit, the aftermarket ones never fit or seal.
