Another query re which cars...

Hello folks,Dad dilemma.
A6tdi/1.8t?
Passat tdi/1.8t?
Bora V5/2.0Sport/tdi?.

About £4500 so will have a few miles on, but not particularly bothered as they do tend to snot along quite well. Which do you think is the better all round option folks?

I have had two 1.8T A6s with few problems and 100K plus miles recommended. Not impressed with 1.9Tdi in A6s and advise against as underpowered if you also have triptronic gearbox.

I had an A6 1.8t for a few weeks while I waited for the A4, and an A6 1.9 TDI as a courtesy car - whilst there was a couple of years difference in age, the diesel (and I can't believe I am saying this) was the better car.

I also had a Bora for a couple of years, and I would say it was a much better drive than my current A4, but (like the A4 in fact) is a bit tight in the back. HUGE bootspace though!

Have a look at the Toledo 1.8T or PD if looking at those
