I have a 2019 A6 Avant with the two touch screens. The SatNav has started reading -4000 to 5000 ft elevation, and showing a position a mile or so east of the true location which makes navigation impossible.

I have googled and I'm not sure it's a common problem - there are not many results describing the same. A reset (push the volume button until the unit resets) has not fixed it. The dealer can't look at it for another 3 weeks - has anyone else had this before? Thanks in advance,

Almost certainly failed or failing GPS antenna.

On older models a 10 quid ebay one works just as well as the genuine replacements, but unsure if such a thing is possible on newer gen.

Thank you for answering. I think I will wait for the warranty appointment rather than tinker, and use Apple Car Play until then. I hoped that someone was going to let me know about the secret reboot that would magically fix it!

Occurred to me very recently that I don't actually know if the navigation in my car works. I assume it does, but with Carplay I probably haven't used it in 2 years...
