Audi Limited Production Models (& Numbers)

I have an R8 GT of which they made 333, same with the Spyder. Does anyone know which other Audi models were made in low numbers? I know the A1 Quattro was a build of 333 in LHD only.

Anything from Quattro GmbH (now Audi Sport) back in the day. The rarest I can think would probably be the C4 S6 Plus, where they replaced the usual 2.2 5-cyl Turbo with their 4.2 V8. Not sure on exact numbers, but it must be very small, especially in Avant-form

Is it not just a way to bump up the price by making it a limted run model. 333 is probably just a fun number that meets the accountants approval.

Its Audis ball so to speak they can make the rules as they see fit.

I assume 333 means something in Audi land. As they made 666 R8 GT coupes and spyders, I assume I’m driving around in a satanic car. To be fair it is a bit of a beast…

C6 A6 4.2 V8 - I don't know how many but I know it wasn't a lot. I drove one once, excellent road car.

I thought the B5 A4 1.8T Quattro Sport was quite a rare car, certainly was when I had one. Not sure how many were made though.

D2 S8 Final Edition (of which virtually all S8s of the period on 20" wheels that come up for sale will claim incorrectly to be!) was sold in tiny numbers - potentially as low as 24

No extra power and the spec was fixed - it was an early example of Audi Exclusive interiors and they're pretty marmite! Mine was avus silver and purple.....wish I'd known how rare it was before I sold it!
