Leon cupra front assist issues( 2021)new model

Hi , partner has just came in saying the car has just done an emergency stop as she was passing a row of parked cars (near side)and cars coming towards her ,there is plenty of room for 2 cars to pass , it’s not even close , is there a way to turn it off permanently without having to press buttons on every journey ?

No not out of the box it's the same as the lane assist has to be turned off every journey though I believe you can code it out using some ODB tool thing. The Acc on these are also dangerously buggy it thinks you are driving on the wrong side of road and can't cope with the fact uk is mph. I've got a Cupra Leon mk4 it's by far the cra ppest car I've owned for buggy tech.
