2021 Skoda Karoq Electrics

Anybody have or know of any experience with electrical problems?

The car is 7 weeks old and last Sunday the heater/blower slowed then stopped blowing, changing blower speed had no effect so couldn't demist the screen on a cold and wet day. Phoned dealer who are open but service booking closed until Tuesday.

Roll forward to Monday, still not working and reversing camera comes up as "not available" then on restarting it's pointing at the number plate rather than the rear view, restart again and it's pointing where it should be, suspect something has detached in the camera housing.

Tuesday morning and had a few errands to do before going to dealer, today the fan is running very faintly but still cannot increase speed. Visit dealer and car is booked in for Thursday. A few calls had to made on the way home and on one restart dashboard all lit up with flashers going and numerous warning lights etc. restarted car and all is normal. Get home and car won't shut down, everything on after three hours so called Skoda Assist, they arrived within the hour but couldn't do anything so car has been recovered to dealer who will look at it Thursday as planned and hire car is due to be delivered from Enterprise today.

Not heard of anything like that on a new one. Sounds like it has some real electrical gremlins hidden away.

You are outside of the window to reject the car but if the dealer can't fix it then you should definitely spin up conversations with them about a replacement vehicle early.
