Hi all,

Reading up about Audi 360 Cameras/Sensors and was wondering if anyone on here was familiar with them?
How do they work in particular?
Where are they placed?
Are they active when engine is switched off (parked up)?
Do they have a notification system (Mobile App linked) like some Mercedes do when in a collision (when driving & when parked)?

Also, I can’t seem to find a definite list of what models have this feature in the UK?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
My A4 Allroad TFSi is fitted with 360 deg cameras.

The individual cameras are located at the rear above the number plate, at the front just below the four rings in the grille and one at each side under the door mirrors.
They will work when the car is stationary but never tried them when the ignition is turned off.
The reverse camera comes on automatically when reverse is engaged but I can control via the round I drive knob on the centre console. Rotating the knob and then pressing it will change the central display to a choice of five different options.
a. rear view,
b, rear corner view
c, 360deg overhead view
d, front view
e, front corner view.

I'm not aware of any type of 'Apps' similar to the Tesla that would allow remote access or recording whilst away from the car but I'm happy to be corrected.

I don't think the 360 deg is standard fit but could be wrong and have assumed that it is a factory option.

Hope that helps!
