As per the title, ESP fault comes up and then EPC light and traction control lights stay on. There is a stores fault on the throttle position sensor. Where is the TPS located on the mk2...is it in the throttle body or the accelerator pedal?

There are position sensors in both the TB and pedal.

The specific code you have will tell which of the sensors it is.

This was a common fault on A3’s in 2004-2006 and the fix was a new ESP unit.

Superb, thank you. I cant find any reference to this code on google at all. I've give the connector plug and socket a blast with maf cleaner.

If it plays up I'll try and get a new part...I guess this is a whole new pedal unit?
