I've had a brand new Audi A4 and Cupra Leon over the ast 2 years. I noticed on the Audi the bottom of the car body that is painted same colour as car had a really rough finish like they expected you not to see it but you do. After taking the car in for warranty work when they had it on ramp / lift I noticed small dents in the rough area at bottom looks like from ramp / lift. Now on Cupra I noticed in the same rough looking paint work the same 4 small dents one either corner at the bottom in the area the car ramp would of been the type that allows the wheels to hang lose so must of been during PDI. It must be the ramps but is more a case it expected or the garage not put it on ramp well?

Thanks

Are you sure they are not the triangle markers for the jacking points? Photos would help

If you jack an Audi A6 just off the jacking points by mistake the piece with the rough paint on distorts very quickly, like a coke can if you stand on it. (Don't ask me how I know....... censoredyikesweeping )

Your right they are thanks, I googled jacking point marker and one of the images is a new Skoda on a jack with a small dent in the rough paint on the bottom of door seal above the jack, my dents look sort of the same but in same location and one in each corner.

Thanks
