Winter steels wheels for Audi A4 Allroad
Discussion
Can't believe there isn't a thread about this, but here goes... I've bought some all-weather Michelin tyres for my 2016 Audi A4 Allroad but I don't want to have to chuck my current tyres which have some life left in them. So I thought I'd look for a set of steel wheels for the all-weather tyres. Can I find any? They should be 17 inch, I think, but hen's teeth comes to mind. Anyone got any ideas? (Please don't suggest another set of alloys I don't like them at the best of times and as for cleaning them...)

Every rim on that page is out of stock lol Can you not run 16" wheels on your A4? You usually drop down a size from summer wheels? Unless you have big upgraded brakes (not sure on your spec) then you may have caliper clearance issues.
What does your handbook say what can fit?
If so, 16" steel wheels are plentiful surely for VAG

- Edit just realised and re-read your comments, you already have the tyres... ignore my comment but generally its better to drop down a size like are continental cousins.
if you look here
https://www.mrwinterwheels.co.uk/
and filter Audi and 17" it does show a 17" steelie option, albeit for a Q3.
I would check through the detail of the width, offset, etc to see if they are suitable.
maybe also serch + filter for vw, seat , skoda on the same site as they will be the same fitment ?

Thanks for all your help. I tried the first option where the wheels were out of stock, and in spite of it having a UK Internet address, I was told that they couldn't deliver to the UK.
I think I had seen the Q3 option and bought the tyres (perhaps I shouldn't have) as 16 inch wheels are much more common. All these things about clearances and offsets make it much more complicated. Maybe the best thing is just to take the summer tyres off and put the all-weather ones on. Simpler, for sure.
Again, thanks for your help.
