Hi, so I have a 2013 Audi s5 which I’ve had serviced at the main dealer throughout my ownership. The car currently has full dealer service history however as the car is now 8 yrs old I’m failing to see the value this will now have on the vehicle. Is it worth breaking the full dealer history and now getting it serviced at an Indy. Will this put buyers off when I come to sell the car and will it have any impact on value?

Many thanks

Dr G

Use a good specialist and ensure work is logged correctly on Digital service.

Worst case, value the same.

Best case, you sell it to someone who dislikes main dealers.

Nothing puts me off a car faster than main dealer service history, I see it as a car lucky to have had the oil changed never mind anything else...but alas it is still coveted by many, including the motoring media. Indy specialist with a good rep all the way for me.
