Polo - advice please?

Hello all
As a fairly new member and VW owner myself, I am looking for some advice. My sister is selling her VW Polo but needs some advice on pricing. It's in Autotrader but I won't stick a link in to avoid accusations of advertising! ;)
Basically, it's a metallic green 99 model with the roof that rolls right back. She's priced it at £2900 but isn't getting any takers.
Has anyone got any suggestions or comments? Anyone else sold a similar car? Are these a popular model?
