v8 s5 question

Hi there, I've not been on this side of the forum for some years now, well since i sold my s4, but I'm looking at getting back into an Audi v8. I want an s5 this time as it they have a bit more power and torque than the s4 (just curious why is that?) but any way, does the s5 v8 suffer the same generic chain tensioner issue or did they resolve it as it seems to be an up dated version?? thanks

Sorted on those.

The biggest nuisance guide is metal on the newer (FSI) cars and goes straight onto early ones as an upgrade.
