Skoda Superb Mk3 - Rattling from the boot somewhere

Anyone with a Mk3 Superb had this? I’ve tried looking at everything in the boot to no avail. It started after I hit a massive pothole in the road.
Are there any common issues with the Mk3 Superb boot? Sounds quite metallic.
I had a similar rattle noise on an Audi S3 recently and couldn't work out what it was. Finally noticed that a coil spring had broken where it is welded at the top of the spring and was difficult to see. Worth checking. Are there any common issues with the Mk3 Superb boot? Sounds quite metallic.

Funnily enough, that was one of my first thoughts too.
I had a look though, and can’t see anything loose. I’ve had the same issue before on my Z4.
I’ve now packed out the boot a bit to see if anything will stop rattling. The search continues!
It was hard to see even with the wheel off as the two parts of the coil spring break were still in contact with each other. I also think the break occurred after going over a large pothole.I had a look though, and can’t see anything loose. I’ve had the same issue before on my Z4.

Definitely wasn’t that. I had a mate sit in the boot and it seems to come from the catch area.
So, the question is, could it be the catch, something loose within the area around the catch in the boot lid, or perhaps, I notice the plastic blocks which I guess help the boot decide where to sit… could it be those? Either side of the boot.

I also have a mk111 Superb, a 2019 SE L and have been driven bonkers by this rattling for months.
Like others I have tried all sorts of things to locate where it's coming from, and can confirm the fix is actually very simple.
Wrap tape around the metal of the hook that the rear seat clips to once you've put the rear seats down, and then simply click the seat back into place.
Fixed. Phew!
