Electronically restricted TT 225

Just wondered really , is it possible that the TT is restricted powerwise in the lower gears ?

It just seems to me that the pull you suddenly get in our 225 in 3rd gear bears no resemblance to 1st and 2nd , also I know that such technology is employed on motorbikes , obviously for safety reasons.

Doubtful that it is. reasonable 0-60s versus similar cars (4wd helps) would seem to suggest not.

Again 4wd would mean it was a strange car to put it on. Mine seems fine in lower gears, could it just be bogging down before the turbo spools up?
