Modified Insurance Woes...

Help! Got a MkIII VR6 with sports s/s exhaust, free flow air filter and lowered sports suspension kit...
Where can I get a cheap policy from - all the majors have refused to quote on above criteria. Thing is could get a normal policy but sod's law says I'll have to make a claim and then be stuffed!!

As deltafox said, give Adrian Flux a try, i have my modified corrado insured though them. You could also try HIC but they have been bought my flux now so might not be competitive.

HIC are the cheapest I've found for modded VWs, its a bugger if they've been taken over by Flux tho, their incompetence is legendary!

Yet another modified Corrado (exhaust, induction kit, suspension). I am with Highway Insurance which I got through the brokers, Chris Knott (recommended by previous owner). Tel [phone] They were cheaper and better than Tesco for me.

Used Flux (Sterling now) loads before AND they paid out full market value of car when I wrote one off many years ago.

thanks guys,, after phoning around HIC offered me the best price for cover I was looking for. only £80 more than std quote and all mods covered!!

Flux have always given me good quotes for modified cars too.
