Loose door sensor connection on S3

Anyone had troubles with an intermittent false open door alarm? On my S3 when I'm driving along the computer will alternate randomly between normal and telling me the passenger door's open. Sometimes it'll be 5 seconds sometimes it'll be 5 minutes. I've locked the door just to be sure. Any suggestions on what I should check?
Same thing happened to my S3 over last two weeks although mine was linked to direct sunlight/heat on the drivers door. dependant on the intensity of the heat the display would revert to normal after 2 to 20 mins.
My door switch/lock plate was replaced under warranty (common fault I was told) although it reappeared straight away with the new plate. They took it back in and cured it by dropping the door a little, I guess it gives a better connection when certain parts expand in the heat.
