I would assume wireless car play will be. But not the toll pass module lol

35tdi S Line coupe white, Flat bttm wheel, perhaps the dealer they sourced the cars from already had an allocation in the system waiting for build dates, they can change the spec if needed, I think, from the article link listed above I could not find the option for the black painted roof on the UK configurator otherwise I also might have added that

Thanks for creating the thread. I went via RGW and ordered the S Line Sportback in white. No added options but the spec seems much improved on the facelift anyway. I actually think the bodystyle and new alloys are very close to looking like the pre-facelift S5. I would have gone coupe if it wasn't for the two kids!

Next update on build date is expected on the 7th August.

Gone for the Sportback S line in white from RGW, no options. Tried for the Coupé but was told last night there was none left. Offered a sportback on same deal as a coupe. Was told by RGW that they have been allocated build slots and that delivery should be around end October. Let’s see.

Quick hello from me as the thread police have booted us all into one place!!

Every white a5 I see on the road hopefully in October will always have me thinking if it's someone from here lol.

I've gone white sportback as I have 2 kids, and I've had one before and the boot is so much more user friendly that the coupe.

2kids here as well so this was the obvious option, passed on flat bottom steering wheel as £299pm was an easier sell to the wife than £305 lol

More than happy with the standard spec, just glad I waited until the next quarter as I was all for ordering the new A3 SB Sline and paying a lot more!

Not had an update from RGW this week yet, but no news is good news, I hope!

Had the “awaiting a build slot” update email this week, but really hoping that they don’t slip past October on the delivery date because I’d rather not extend / pay for an extra service on my current lease!

Hi guys

I'm new to Pistonheads with this being my first post. I came across the deal with RGW when I was browsing their site - It went live literally minutes before I checked so I was in luck (I knew about them as my brother had previously got an A6 through them)

I've gone for the 35 TDI, but I went for the Coupe, flat bottom wheel (it was only around £4pm) but I did go for the Turbo Blue paint! I dont have kids hence the Coupe and colour option - it's my first lease and as it was already a cracking deal I decided to go all out with a colour I would never actually buy!

Just been checking the forums today regarding updates when I came across this thread. I'm in the same boat as most; received an email saying awaiting build slot.

I ordered mine not so long ago from contract cars. I was issued with Audi order number to track as soon as my finance had gone through. A car was allocated and I was given 8-9 weeks delivery - most of the cars they had were in stock mostly Daytona Grey and White. I was offered Black after my finance went through and they only had few on last minute availability.

As for the tracking on Audi my car was already built and apparently with Leeds Audi. I've tried contacting Leeds Audi fleet services on couple of occasions but to no avail. I will wait for the finance documents to arrive ~14 days before the car arrives so should be around August with a delivery date beg of Sept.

My A5 is the uplift version and my20. I believe most people who ordered after me are getting my2021 version (no different in spec). These are factory built and due to arrive end of Sept/Oct.

I also got the standard a5 sportback but with optional Flat bottom steering wheel. I just got my lease extended till the end of Sept, but I'm now thinking if I need to extend till the end of Oct? (will have to get the car serviced aswell) Thoughts guys?

I think if they gave us the Sep/Oct date, surely they must’ve taken Covid into account to save themselves the hassle of people getting mad/angry later on, maybe they know something we don’t

Anyone know much about audi connect and the virtual cockpit around getting Google maps on it?

Does it come with audi connect or is it something you have to pay extra for as a subscription?

In May and June Audi UK was giving an upto 20 week lead time - with a build week slot coming anytime in that 20 week block.

Simply connect your phone to the Audi Connect system (was via USB lead in the models upto 2019) and you can choose that of Waze, whatever you please.

It's free for three years. Audi hasn't worked out how to monitse the system so it just refreshes and extends licenses for free for two years at a time over the air

I signed up recently for A5 35TDI S Line due to be delivered this coming week.
Just noticed that people are mentioning my 20 and my 2021 models. I have done a reasonable amount of googling but no luck. Not sure what mine will be but wondering what the difference would be?

I know there were production delays, and they were redoing the factory to prepare for the facelift, maybe you’ll get the pre-facelift?

It is definitely the facelift as I have been told. But not sure the difference between my20 and my21.
