2013 - 2019 Audi A6 3.0 Tdi Variants
Discussion
Hi,
Been scouting the used car market for an Audi A6 3.0 Tdi, not sure of chassis number but the one that came out in 2013 and just replaced.
Going for good money now, if can find an early one with 60k - 80k.
I think there are three BHP variants, 204, 215, and 243?? The 205's are cheaper on the used market.
Is there any differance between the engines? The thinking being getting a good deal on 205 then putting a Revo Map on it
Thanks

Thanks,
Having a 3.0 TDI lump, with FWD sounds like an under steering nightmare !
The other option as it's alot cheaper, is a B8 A4 3.0 TDI
Am I correct in thinking that the early ones in 2009 has the Multitronic?
Anything auto and front wheel drive on a B8 is multitronic - the quattros are a 6 speed slusher on the early ones then later a 7 speed DSGHaving a 3.0 TDI lump, with FWD sounds like an under steering nightmare !

I don't think the 3.0 tdi was available in FWD format. Quattro only. Having a 3.0 TDI lump, with FWD sounds like an under steering nightmare !

Top of the A6 3.0 TDI range is the Biturbo, with 313bhp. In my opinion, far and away the best of the bunch. I sold mine last year but still think its the best all round car I've ever had.
Yeah agree, really want a Bi TDi, just not at in my option good second hand money yet. Thanks for the input who replied, will be scanning the market, for an early 3.0 TDI Advant, that has the DSG, pop a Revo Map on it,.
