Removing Rear Brake Caliper Handbrake cable

Having some trouble getting one of the cables off the caliper. One side was easy, just unhook it from the lever and then slide it through the hole.

The other side has a notched bit of plastic stopping it from fitting through the hole. Iv tried prying it and squeezing it but wont budge.


Anyone know how you get this off? The car is an 05 Audi A3 8P

If all else fails, buy a new plastic piece and cut that one off.
