Audi A1 1,2 TFSI cutting out whilst driving

Hi All
My parents have an Audi A1 1.2 TFSI (60 plate) which when driven, the engine cuts out.
The history is that it had started to do this regularly (every acceleration after approx. 30 seconds)
We managed to get it to the garage where they changed the cam chain (It had a slight rattle) but when driven, it still faulted.
The engine was free of chain noise but there was a high pitched squeak coming from the high pressure fuel pump.
This was changed and the engine is noise free, and will idle and rev without issues.
The issue only happens when driving.
The only DTC is that of low fuel pressure but this only appears as the engine cuts out.
We are suspecting the camshaft lobe is worn but the garage are yet to check that. (Similar issue on google in Poland)
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue...?
