No Manual shift DSG

[44danno]

Hi this is my first post. I have a Vw caravelle 2009 with DSG. The box works fine even on kick down but the manual select hast stopped working and I think the illuminated gear numbers don’t show.
I remember seeing something that suggested displaced magnets? Maybe this part 3D0927353B.
If anyone can help I would be grateful.
Kind regards happy new year karl
