Morning!

I've just bought a low mileage 2015 Audi Allroad. Given the cost and complexity of this beast I've been looking to get a warranty. I can get an Audi extended warranty for between £760 and £1200, depending on excess. But I was wondering whether there are any half decent 3rd party warranty companies you have used that could offer a slightly more cost effective solution.

Any help gratefully received.

Consensus seems to be that manufacturer warranties are the ones to have. 3rd party ones are rarely, if ever, as comprehensive in cover and seem to have a reputation for making it difficult to claim.

As above, the Audi warranty without doubt gives the best scope of cover.

I used the Audi warranty a couple of times on TTs - paid out each time no problem. This included two new headlights that were an eyewatering £1k each!

You need to remember though that it is an insurance policy and there will be exclusions you wouldn't get with the original warranty.
