Lights up grade for Golf Mk vll
Discussion
I’ve had my golf for a few months now and love the car but have had two issues recently I wondered if anyone could help with.
The first is that I have got standard lights and find at night on wet motorways and dark lanes that the lights just aren’t great and wondered what I could do to improve this, my budget would be about £300.
The 2bd problem is that after jet washing the car last week the rear passenger well on the the passenger side is really wet under the carpet, not sure if it’s a coincidence that I found it after jet washing??
Any help on the above would be great.

I'd suggest a proper xenon retrofit.
That doesn't mean just plugging in an HID kit in the standard headlights, it's a proper xenon projector placed into the headlight like it would have been at the factory.
There's a guy I know in Northamptonshire who does these retrofits for a reasonable cost and is a UK supplier of Morimoto which is what I suspect will end up in your headlight if you go down the retrofit route.
