Vw Beetle window regulator snapped cable

My drivers side window regulator has snapped in my 2015 Beetle, is there a fix/repair for this? Or any after market parts I can get to replace?
Currently can only get VW part but expensive in comparison to other VWs and older Beeltes.

I did this job on a Citroen a couple of days ago using ebay parts

It does require basic auto DIY skills but there were youtube videos on how to do it which helped a lot.
