My A3 3.2 Quattro has worn the front tyres unevenly, basically the inside edge of the front tyre has worn significantly, whilst the rest of the tyre is still quite good, the left side tyre is worse than the right. Car is 14 months old with about 10,000 miles.

Does anyone know if this is this normal wear for this car? or is something wrong with the steering geometry, the wheels have never been kerbed and always taken easy over potholes and speedbumps etc. The pressures are regularly checked etc.

If anything I would have expected the outside edge to have worn more.

Any Ideas?

What I was thinking, but since it has not been hit etc then I assume it must have been out from new, just wondering whether it was a 'they all do that' kind of situation.

Wonder if Audi would like to contribute towards some new tyres, after they've fixed the tracking?
