Audi A6 C7 Saloon Buying Advice
Discussion
Need some advice, love the look of the C7 A6. I need something bigger than my M135i 5dr.
After some searching I've landed on the 3.0 V6 diesel lump up front. Preference is the BiTdi with the Tiptronic gearbox. Is this the best combo to go for? Most of these models are within my budget have got a lot of big miles on the clock >100k. How reliable are these with big miles providing servicing is up to scratch?
Alternative will be to settle for the next engine down which is the 3.0L TDi but avoiding the Multitronic gearbox and opting for the S-tronic instead.
I know the C6 handles big miles with relative ease so hoping the C7 is the same. Having had many years of 4 pot diesel engines through company cars I am reluctant to go back.
I'm based in Thame, Oxfordshire so I have future plans of having MRC remap the new purchase once I have made my mind up.
Any feedback on the C7, things to look for/avoid etc. Interested to hear peoples experiences.
Thanks in advance.

I had my BiTDi for over 5 years and did everything I ask of it without really any fault for 65K miles engine still very smooth and gearbox was seemless.
Airbag slip ring was replaced under warranty due to squeaks and it did have an appetite for rear brake pads (Traction control) but apart from that is was a good car.
The engine in the Bitdi is a bit beast of a torque monster and will surprise a few, I would of gladly run it over the 100k mark if the urge for a V8 hadn't taken hold lol
