hi all
just got the above car.. and the wireless phone charging doesn't seem to be working unless I'm missing something?

my iPhone is not Qi enabled so bought a case which gets round this... but doesn't work.. I also tried my brothers Windows phone which is Qi enabled and not charging that either... can't see anything in the settings for it or in the manuals

You need a 17MY before phone box gains wireless charging.

15/16 MY are described as:

Audi Connect and Audi Phone Box. Audi Connect provides access to a number of innovative online services including:
navigation using Google Earth™ images and Google Street View™, destination entry via Google Maps™ or myAudi, online point
of interest search and information services such as weather forecasts and the latest world news. Audi Connect can also create
a WiFi hotspot in the car for convenient internet access using a mobile device (e.g. laptop or tablet). Audi Phone Box enables
drivers to use their mobile phone in the car by placing it in the storage compartment provided in the centre console to create
a 'wireless' connection to the vehicle aerial. Operated via the MMI control panel or the multi-function steering wheel. Mobile
Phone can be charged via a USB port.

17 MY:

Audi Phone Box. Enables drivers to use their mobile phone in the car by placing it in the storage compartment provided in
the front centre console to create a wireless connection to the vehicle aerial, improving reception quality (subject to
network coverage). Operated via the MMI control panel, the multi-function steering wheel or the voice control system.
Wireless charging available (with Qi enabled compatible phones) or phone can be charged via USB port. Audi Phone Box
option also provides an additional Bluetooth interface for a second device, meaning two mobile phones can be connected to
the vehicle simultaneously. For mobile phone and software version compatibility, please visit your Audi Centre or
