Going to let my 640d go and have been looking at the CLS and a few others, I can’t afford a Panemera but the A7 looks nice.

I like to buy nearly new as the prices seem reasonable would like the 360 camera and heads up display as well as the air suspension but I think it will be hard to find all that.

Would welcome any advice from other owners
Will prob arrange a test drive next week

Heads up display, heated seats, phone box, tech pack and the upgraded speakers are things I would 100% recommend - after having them I don't think I could own a car without them.

Thanks for this, what’s the phone box and tech pack?

Also which engine is best there is a 40 and 50 but not sure of the difference?

The phone signal in the A7 is poor (I don't know why), so if you put your phone in the compartment it boosts the signal significantly.

From google'
"Featuring the top-of-the-range navigation and connectivity systems MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch. Includes HDD-based navigation with topographical map display, places of interest
and town models in 3D. Destinations can be entered via the speech dialogue system or MMI touch. Also includes 8" display, DVD player and 2 SDXC memory card readers

(HDD based navigation alsoi provides approx 10GB of Jukebox music storage so you do not have to keep your music on SD card. In Jukebox you can browse music via albums with covers, just like in an iPhone. You will appreciate 8" hi-res display and additional navigation features. MMI touch and voice recognition works really well, you can watch movies via DVD player (as opposed to standard CD player) and 2 slots for SD cards wil give you extra memory should 10GB be not enough"

Not sure what you mean about the engine. I'm running the BiTDi and it is an absolute powerhouse, yet can bring nearly 50mpg on motorway runs

Thanks again this is really helpful for me.
It’s the bi turbo I want but looking on the Audi page there are 3 Diesel engines , 40, 45 and 50 TDI - do you know who is the bi turbo please?

TDI 40, 2.0 I4 turbo
TDI 45, 3.0 V6, turbo
TDI 50, 3.0 V6, turbo

The 320 PS BiTurbo has not yet appeared in 2019 onwards cars, however the 2019 S7 is now a 3.0L V6 TDI @350PS so can't see the 320PS BiTurbo coming back as it would be too near the S7.

You are going to need to look at pre sept 2018 cars to find the BiTDI.

Thanks that’s good to know as I was looking for a 2018 car.

Really like the A7 but can’t decide on this or a CLS or the 5 series.
