Hi,

Off to view a red A4 tomorrow, 2007 Reg.

Car looks decent in the pictures, just a bit hesitant due to red cars I had in the nineties having serious issues with fade and blotching on the bonnets. Vauxhall spring to mind!

Modern cars I gather have clearcoat to protect them?

Thanks,

Really depends on how well it has been looked after? Has it had plenty of polish and wax applied regularly. Any fading can generally be treated after..

Hi There

I don't think Audis ever has this issue.

My sister used to have a 2005 Corsa and after 5 years it was a blotchy milky pink! as mentioned though, it can be rectified in a couple of hours, her partner at the time managed to get it looking good as new in an afternoon with just a good polish I think

Agree on Audi...no problems. Vauxhall, yes, but mainly Corsas. However World Champion of Pink is Mercedes 190!
