Clutch & DMF failure on A6 ultra 2015

Had to be recovered yesterday after the clutch pedal sank to the floor and wouldnt pump anymore.
Ironically brought it in to a well respected garage the day before to check something else and the lad instantly pointed out the DMF was on its way out because of the nasty 'judder' when setting off in first gear...the car has now done 120k so fair enough but two things have seriously p*ssed me off ...firstly the technician at Audi said it was 'normal' and most Audis seem to do it and not to worry too much when I brought it in to check this out 12 months ago and secondly my bill from the garage is a whopping 1750 quid!! 1350 is parts!!
The reason for the hefty price was that I had to buy the parts from Audi as LUK stated they havent released any aftermarket parts for the A6 ultras yet so they dont stock !
TPS was similar to MD re price too.
I need the car for my job so I have to get it sorted and the garage is doing their best to get it sorted today !
