Audi MOT Cover
Discussion
How do. My car is due its first MOT next month. I have the extended Audi warranty and have the Audi MOT cover. Its £50 for a MOT there and there is £750 cover if it fails, apart from consumables like tyres, brakes etc.
Does anyone have any experience of this? It seems a bit 'snake oily' to me. Any fails should really be covered by the warranty anyway. Should i just take it to my local Indy or is there something i'm missing?

If a 3 year old car fails an MOT for anything other than a consumable i wouldn’t be happy. Particularly one that is supposed to be a premium car.
Personally I would prefer to take it to my local trusted Indy than have an Audi main dealer try and tell me it needs new brakes and tyres far earlier than it does.

I have this on my S4, MOT is a standard price everywhere (discounts notwithstanding) and the Audi garage give me a free breakfast roll and coffee so why not get the warranty? As for experience, on my old A3 I got repairs done FOC twice under the scheme; first track rod-end and then later a broken rear spring.
