Audi A6 Competition

Not sure if you get these in the UK?

Collected it yesterday and it's bloody wunderbar.

A6 Avant Competition, which is a V6T diesel with 326bhp and 650nm of torque. It's quite brisk for an oil burner.

Not one we get here (at least currently).

Is that an update of the old twin-turbo diesel or the new one with a single 'normal' turbo and additional electric one? Or something else completely?

3.0 V6 twin turbo, it has 326bhp but has an 'extra boost' when you put your foot down which adds 20bhp, according to the blurb.

I did put my foot down on my way back from the dealers and decided to call it a day at 250km/h as there was a little too much traffic around for comfort. It was still pulling like a train though.

That was always the best engine in the A6 range (even the older one with a little less grunt); lovely in the SQ5 too.

I wonder if we'll get them back over here?

The engine really is a peach.

It's madness really. This is a €90K car over here, I paid €46K with 25000kms on the clock and 18 months old.
