Hi All

I'm a new V10 owner (C5 V8 in the past) and just wondered if anyone else was getting this on startup, mines producing a lot of steam, is this normal on the V10's?..

I’d say that was normal. Each gallon of fuel produces nigh on a gallon of water and a V10 uses a lot on start up, and the cold exhaust will condense it.

Looks pretty normal to me; you'll notice it a lot less in the warmer months.

Unless it's losing coolant I don't think there's anything wrong.

I had an S6 V10 mine produced loads of steam on cool mornings. Never had any issues with mine. As DrG says you will notice it a lot less when the weather improves

On another note, mines had the dreaded oil pump seal sorted but is there anything specific to watch out for to keep an eye on as it's my understanding it will need doing again at some point etc..
