Perishing tyres Audi A1

Hi all

I have my mot/service next week and just wanted to know all your views on my tyres. My last mot back in September last year I had an advisory about 2 front tyres perishing.

See picture and tell me your thoughts if to get them changed or am I worried about something minor?

How old are they?

Check the date code



If they are over 8 years old, (ideally 5) they should be replaced anyway.

It states 2711 so I’m guessing that’s 2011?

Correct, making them over 7 years old.

For the sake of your safety, I'd have them replaced asap.
