Hoping to add the ability to stream music and podcasts from my Android device to the cars MMI system, ideally through bluetooth whilst retaining bluetooth phone.. possible?

Happy to control whatever is playing through my phone, but wouldn't want to have to use my phone to answer a call while driving, if that makes any sense.

If the car has AMI, then an AMI to micro-USB cable could do the trick. Accesses music from the phone and plays it through the MMI system. On apple, it plays music off the music app, which incorporates Apple Music, therefore streaming as well. Is a clunky interface however, but advantages are that it can be controlled from the steering wheel, and shows up on the DIS if you have that option.
