I'm thinking, "Thank God I don't have a need for one of those monstrosities."

It's primarily designed to hit the North American market, and with that in mind, I think it will dominate, if they can make enough of them.

Gutted - put down a deposit for one of these some time ago to replace the ageing X5. Not sure how close these pics are to what we'll see in the UK next year but first impressions aren't good. Looks like the new Lexus for me unless Audi leak Euro-friendly images soon!

I don't see how you can say it's horrible but like the X5.

I think it looks rather good.

And what's wrong with that?
If that's what people want to drive then why not?
Why is it any more wrong than people in supercars in city centres or people carriers with only one person in them?

Or indeed 5 seat saloons which never get the rear sears used as per 90% of the time?

The whole idea of someone trying to dictate what others should and shouldn't drive based on their own ideas of what is suitable is a dangerous path to tread and I'm sick of it.

Taking the kids to school and looking nice is exactly what this has been designed to do, so what?
