Changing blower motor A3 8L

I've got an old A3 2002 the blower motor for heating etc has gone so need to replace. I found a few old posts explaining how access it but most just repair existing so they are cutting wires etc. I can get a new blower for £47 so just want to swap like for like, I wondered if I do this is it just a matter on unplugging the old one and blugging in new or will I have to mess about cutting wires etc ? I just dont want to start the job and not have the bits I need.
