electrical issue on scirocco

my problem is I have had my mot and my washers had failed
the bigger problem,washers,rear wiper and airbag dash light is on
I have checked the fuses,I have replaced the pump and the switch and this has come to no effect.

Would you have any suggestions?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a short period of time? Sometimes the control module senses a fault and shuts down the circuit(s). I'm aware of this resolving issues with the washers and rear wiper.

With regards to the airbag light, check the wiring / connectors below the seats as these are known to cause problems if people push the seats right back abruptly. Otherwise you need to have it scanned to see what airbag is causing the issue and take it from there.

Hi, It’s your airbag slip ring, all faults you mentioned run through that unit. I’ve replaced quite a few of these.

The above is more than likely correct. Especially if the horn also doesn't work, but you'd have hoped they'd pick that up on the MOT
