I can recommend a TTS in that budget.
Ive just bought one myself with the S tronic box. It sounds fantastic, and goes well. Solid build too.
Ive just remapped it too so its now just over 300bhp.
Where did you go for your remap?Ive just bought one myself with the S tronic box. It sounds fantastic, and goes well. Solid build too.

How is the drive since?
I would second the TTS, great value for money. Although mine was 14k
Maybe the earlier mk2 3.2 V6?
I had a Mk2 3.2 DSG coupe. It was a good all rounder - quite practical for a 2 seater, easy to lazily cruise along and interesting if you woke it up. Quite a soft, saloon car ride. Averaged 27mpg.
No real problems. The hifi failed under warranty and the replacement had some bass, which the original didn't (Bose). Both window regulators failed and the DSG was clunky when cold.
Kept it 8 years, bought a Mk3.

It was quick before, but it's got a hell of a punch now..
No impact on fuel economy either.
Mine was £12.5 but you can get these in budget

TTS is a quick car, feels a lot faster than the stated 272bhp.
Been thinking about a remap myself but I dont want it to ruin the mk3 TTS that i will be getting at some point if that makes sense.
Yeah definitely can get one for the budget.
I'm not sure how the other models in the mk2 range compare or if they are even worth getting etc.

Horses for courses I guess. Iirc the TTS wasn't Quattro when I bought the (used) 3.2 in 08 (not sure now) and I'd have bought a 6 cyl in preference with the Mk3, even a less powerful one - to a point.MikeM3Power said:

No. A place in York can. I wasnt bothered. Ive bought plenty of maps of this guy. I have an Eos 2.0 TFSI and that thing flies now.TTS is a quick car, feels a lot faster than the stated 272bhp.
