CarPlay on VW head units

[A900ss]

Hi,

If you are using Maps through Apple CarPlay (or Google Maps with android Auto), can you still listen to the car’s DAB or does the CarPlay/Android Auto fully take over the entertainment system and you need to use an app like Tunein through your phone?

Thanks
