Facelift Scirocco seating position/adjustment

Has anyone driven/owned a facelift and a pre-facelift Scirocco? The reason i ask is that my new one doesn't seem to get me sitting as low as my old model did. I still feel like i'm sat relatively high, even with the seat on it's lowest position and the steering wheel on the lowest too, which is my preferred set-up

I'm pretty sure it's not just me. Has anyone else noticed this at all?
