2013+ 1.2TSI Turbo problems CJZA

Anyone else having or had a problem with a 1.2TSI turbo wastegate on the late model 1.2TSI CJZA engine?

Mine (2013 golf 38k miles out of warranty) went in down on power and EPC lit up, they fitted a new wastegate actuator (part was free).

Did not solve the problem on the drive home. They now say it needs a new turbo complete.

I investigated myself, and the wastegate pivot is seized, I freed it off myself and a couple of days later it seized again.

I note they have a lot of problems with this turbo.... I suspect design fault and think they should be replacing FOC
