The Arosa / Lupo models have me confused.
How do I recognise the 100bhp 1.4 versions?
thanks

For the Arosa, it's as simple as 1.4 8v is your 60hp and the 1.4 16v is the 100hp.

For the Lupo, there's a 1.4 8v 60hp, 1.4 16v 75hp, and the 1.4 16v Sport is the 100hp.

So for a Lupo, look for a 16v Sport model, for the Arosa look for 16v.

Don't they both have central exiting exhausts?

Is that the main distinquishing feature?
Was thinking different cam cover or servo or dash panel etc

Sorry, I'm sure there is a tell-tale sign like you suggest, but I know not of it. I'm not well up on VAG, but for a brief period I was considering a 'Sport'; the first thing I'd look for on any 1.4 for sale would be the central exhaust. However, this is probably at least 10 years ago, when less would have been messed about with.

I'd still quite like to try one, I'm sure they go well for what they are.
