Appreciate the topic has probably been covered many times before but being lazy (and tight on time) can i have some guidance please on anything to look for or be concerned about etc. on a used TT.

The purchase is for my wife to use. Budget about £20k. I suspect we would look at a 225 model and she would prefer the roadster.

Any advice appreciated

Thanks.

It's not answering your question,
but get a coupe -
with the useless rear seats folded down
it's a surprisingly practical car.

Trying to answer your question (but yes the coupe is more practical - apart from the rear 'seats' and better looking).

The only things to look out for are really the electrics - temperamental windows etc. Dash pods are expensive glitches which run into the high hundreds. Coil packs should be alright on a newish car - your budget would get you something a couple ears old or so.

Apart from that they're pretty well built and fell pretty bulletproof.

...Coupe prettier, bud IMHO the roadster has one big advantage..roof off motoring.

Ensure coil packs are the newest version, (should be by now)
