Anyone know how to adjust the headlights for driving on the "wrong" side of the road? I have a new style (2004) A6 with the adaptive headlights...

I can't find anything in the handbook and the dealer is saying that I have to book it in for them to adjust before my trip, and again when I come back. Oh, and it will cost me over £100 for the privilege!

I wouldn't think it's much of an adjustment especially as £100 probably = about 10 mins work.

Personally I'd just leave them as they are.

if they are adaptive, do they not 'adapt' to other side of road driving and if not why not?

Adaptive just means that if you turn the wheel then the headlights will follow. I need the headlights adjusted for the wheel in the "straight ahead" position.

Open up the back of the lights and check for any levers for moving the beam pattern.

Hi
dont know about adaptive headlights
But the Audi I did last week had a small lever in the back of the lamp which I pushed over
Had to remove the lamp to reach it, may be the same
