A3 Front suspension Clonk?

On the back of the strut tool question - my fetling has not cured the problem.

I have clonking/rattling when going over rough surfaces coming from both sides of the front suspension?

I have swapped the Strut top rubbers and Bearings and the lower ball joints to no avail? Can't get anything to appear loose with a pry bar but the rattling is fairly noticeable, anyone has a similar problem and hence solution?

PS if I get a quick answer then I can get GSF to deliver the parts at the same time as the spanner for the strut!

Check your bottom bushes on the wishbone.
